Toe Beans Cat Cafe needs the community’s support.
New owners took over the business on March 9, only to have to close it on March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the owners, Julie Lockhart-Thompson, says they had raised $5,600 through a GoFundMe page, only to have to close it without collecting any of the funds.
Lockhart-Thompson says the longer COVID lasts, the longer bills are stacking up.
She adds that any money raised will go towards the foster cats in their care.
And, there are numerous ways the community can contribute.
While the cafe isn’t back to regular operations quite yet, you are still able to stop in for coffee, snack or to peruse the gift items.
