As of today (Sept 8), the Cobourg Police Station is re-opening to the public.
Due to COVID-19, there are restrictions and certain protocols in place.
Criminal Record check applications, Freedom of Information requests, Motor Vehicle Collision reports, Request Online Reporting of non-emergency crime and bike registration can all be completed through cobourgpoliceservice.com, and therefore will not be done in person.
If you need help with these online services, you can call 905-372-6821.
107 King Street will only be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and you must complete the online COVID-19 health screening before heading to the station, and if you answer YES to any question, do not go to the station.
Anyone coming to the police station must wear a non-medical mask or face covering, and only two people will be allowed in the lobby at one time.
People must stand at least six feet apart, sanitize your hands upon entry to the building, answer standard health screening questions from an auxiliary officer or volunteer, and temperatures will be checked.
