Looking for something special for Mom this Mother’s Day?
The Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise Presents the Mother’s Day Brunch in a Box.
Melissa Allison of the Rotary Club tells us more.
Allison says the Club has teamed up with five local businesses to offer “Brunch in a Box” and you have until this Saturday (May 1) to place your order.
You can order from:
>Case Di Rina (Cobourg) – Taste of Italy Box Half-stuffed pepper with penne pomodoro and mini focaccia bread with a ricotta cannoli
>Sugar Dust Bakery & Café (Port Hope) – Dessert Box Four rose cupcakes and two wrapped sugar cookies
>Santorini Restaurant (Port Hope) – Dinner Box A choice of Prime Rib, Lamb or Souvlaki Dinner, served with vegetables and rice
>Food Inspired (Port Hope)– High Tea Box A selection of tea, sandwiches, and treats
>Ketch’s Korner (Cobourg) – Picnic for Mom Box Charcuterie board, homemade pasta salad, coleslaw, and dessert
Allison says each box is $40 and includes a $15 donation to support Sunrise Rotary and the club’s commitments to community organizations, such as Ed’s House.
Curbside pickup at each restaurant will take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9th from 11am until 1pm.
