The first annual Big Summer Concert is on July 2nd, 2022 at the Bob Wannamaker Amphitheatre in Centennial Park, featuring the band Dwayne Gretzky.
The first concert of the season at the Amphitheatre features Toronto’s Dwayne Gretzky Band, a collective of musicians specializing in cover songs from rock and pop music’s past and present. Known for their energetic shows and inclusive vibe, Dwayne Gretzky have amassed a major following in their hometown and they will be performing live in Trenton over the holiday long weekend.
“They are a collective of 10 musicians,” said Karen Parker – Special Events Coordinator for the City of Quinte West. “They have renditions of over 600 popular songs. At our performance the band will take you on a nostalgic journey with their passionate renditions of classic rock and pop songs from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Cranberries, Fatboy Slim and many more.”
This is a ticketed and licensed event. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
There is a general admission ticket for $30 and you can bring your own blanket and get comfortable or for $45.00 there is a premium spot with a chair provided.
This concert is being hosted by the City of Quinte West in partnership with the Empire Theatre who is managing the stage and the lightening.
