The Hastings Waterfront Festival is making its return this weekend.
The 14th annual event starts on Saturday, August 20 from 10am to 11pm, and continues on to Sunday with the Show and Shine Car Show.
We spoke with Chris Manning, a volunteer organizer of the Waterfront Festival about the event.
He said that since this was the first one since being cancelled due to the pandemic, they wanted to go big.
With an extra day and an expanded location, Manning said he has high hopes for the event.
There will be a vendors section, a bunch of free entertainment for all ages, as well as musical performances throughout both days. Of course there will also be the antique boat show along the Trent River which is no doubt the star of the show.
