Members of the Cobourg Police spent the day yesterday helping a few kids shop for Christmas.
The annual Shop with a Cop event saw officers working through the kids lists at Walmart, where they were shopping for themselves and family members.
Constable Cindy Reeves told us about the event.
Reeves said it’s a great way to get kids more familiar with police.

The kids are selected by police with help from some community partners.
