Calling all car and motorcycle enthusiasts, Chrome on the Canal, organized by the Trent Hills Auto and Motorcycling Club, is returning after a hiatus from Covid on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 to Campbellford.
Volunteer Coordinator Heather McEvoy gave us the details.
This all day event runs, rain or shine with no registration fee.
“We are open to all makes, models and years of car and motorcycles,” said McEvoy. “It is a free, family friendly event. If you are showing, come early to get a great spot along the canal.
McEvoy told us they’ll have booths for vendors and food on-site too.
With the help of a volunteer committee, Heather McEvoy has been coordinating the show for 12 years but the event has been going prior to that.
Cars and motorcycles line the grassy sides of the Trent Canal along Hwy 30 in Campbellford.
The event runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
McEvoy told us it’s best to arrive early.
Thanks to the event sponsors, and a team of volunteers this event is no charge to enter or view.
“It’s a great day, to walk the canal and see lots of amazing vehicles,” added McEvoy. “We are so excited to be back to running this event, it makes a busy day in town, but residents and visitors love seeing both older and newer vehicles. This is not a judging event, all cars and motorcycles are welcome to gather to this rain or shine event.”
Make a trip up to Campbellford to see all the amazing cars and motorcycles and meet their owners. For more information about Chrome on the Canal, visit (20+) Facebook.
