Those waiting for the Sandcastle Festival will have to wait a day before the fun begins.
The Town of Cobourg says the event will be moved to Sunday, August 13 due to a high risk of thunderstorms on Saturday, August 12.
The Master Sand Sculptors will still build their sculptures over Friday and Saturday. Shuttle services to festivities have also been moved to Sunday.
