Port Hope will fly the Pan-African flag to celebrate Black History Month
You’re invited to Town Hall on Thursday, Feb. 1st at 11:00 a.m. for a special Pan-African flag raising ceremony in celebration of Black History Month.
The Mayor, Council Members, and staff will participate to symbolize the municipality’s commitment to honoring Black history.
The flag will fly proudly throughout February at Town Hall, and the community is invited to join in for this significant event. The ceremony and remarks will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
