Northumberland OPP are calling on the public for help after a theft of a boat and trailer.
On Friday, July 12, 2024, OPP said they received a report of a boat and trailer stolen from a storage yard on County Road 18 in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand.
The victim advised that the boat and trailer was last sighted on July 7 and the owner returned on July 12 to find them gone, said police, adding the boat was still in a light blue plastic wrap at the time.
The boat is described as a pontoon and 21 feet in length, with a hull number of ON8845645.
“The value of the boat and trailer is approximately $70,000.”
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect or suspects involved in this theft, said police.
