An investigation is continuing after an alleged break and enter and theft of liquor at a Hastings business in the Municipality of Trent Hills, says Northumberland OPP.
Police said officers responded Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at about 9:40 p.m., to the Front Street West Hastings property following a break-and-enter call.
It was reported that a person had entered the location using a metal pry bar and proceeded to take a number of items from the business while it was closed, added police.
The area was patrolled, and a scenes of crime officer also responded to help with the onsite probe, reported OPP, adding that the investigation is ongoing and an individual is being sought in relation to the incident.
However, police provided no other details, and said updates will be provided when more information is available.
