A water main break has shut down Walton Street in Port Hope.
In the latest update available from the municipality, officials said work is continuing to fix the broken water main.
However, Walton between Mill Street to Queen Street is closed to accommodate the work.
Officials are asking people to use alternate routes while crews work at repairs. Municipal staff also noted that the bridge remains closed until further notice.
“We will provide updates when more information is available,” added officials.
No other details have been released.
