The Municipality of Brighton is hosting its fourth annual Career Fair on Tuesday, February 3, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Owen Gibb Community Centre (part of the King Edward Park facilities at 75 Elizabeth Street), offering Northumberland County job seekers the chance to connect directly with employers.
Local businesses, Ontario Parks, and the Municipality of Brighton will be attending with opportunities for students, seasonal staff, and full-time professionals. Job seekers can explore positions including park wardens, hospitality staff, technical and administrative roles, golf course attendants, and summer municipal student positions across the county.
Organizers are encouraging participants to pre-register online through Work in Quinte. Pre-registration allows candidates to skip the line, apply on the spot, and access career support services from Career Edge and Watton Employment Services. Job seekers are also advised to bring printed resumes to maximize opportunities.
The Career Fair provides employers the chance to showcase openings, promote their organizations, and connect with qualified candidates from across the region. Admission is free and open to all members of the public.
