A 38-year-old Brighton man has died after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash, says Northumberland OPP.
The investigation into the collision in the Boundary Road Brighton area is continuing, police told MBC on Tuesday, May 19.
While details are still scarce, police have confirmed that a 38-year-old male motorcyclist from Brighton was pronounced deceased at the scene earlier today.
According to OPP, emergency crews responded to reports of a motorcycle crash on Boundary Road near Hillview Road at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Boundary Road was previously shut down into the afternoon between County Road 2 and Little Lake Road for the on-site investigation. OPP also called in its traffic collision investigation (TCI) specialists to help at the scene.
No other details have been released.
However, Northumberland OPP has put out a call for the public’s help, urging anyone with information or video or dash-cam footage to reach out to OPP at 1–888-310-1122.
Police said updates will be provided when more information is available.
