Experience Cobourg’s Tourism Information Hub will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Walmart (Cobourg): Regular hours, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Shoppers Drug Mart: Cobourg and Port Hope locations are expected to operate regular hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Transit and municipal services
Cobourg Transit will operate on its regular schedule, although some fixed-route and on-demand stops will be temporarily affected by the Canada Day parade. Free Waterfront Festival shuttle buses will operate throughout the festival, with service every 30 minutes and extended hours until 11 p.m. on Canada Day.
In Cobourg, the Public Library and municipal offices will also be closed for the holiday.
In Port Hope, municipal offices, transit services, recreation facilities, the Port Hope Public Library branches and the Hope Transfer Station will all be closed on Canada Day. Municipal services resume Thursday, July 2.
Garbage collection
There are no changes to garbage and recycling collection schedules in Cobourg or Port Hope this year, as Canada Day falls mid-week.
Residents elsewhere in Northumberland with Wednesday or Thursday collection should expect pickup to move to the following day.
Waste transfer stations will be closed for the holiday.
Before you head out…
Hours may vary by location, so it’s always a good idea to call ahead or check online before making a special trip.
