Thursday: Starting at 6 p.m., the Road To Cultivate Concert Series brings another free evening of live music to Port Hope, with the Angela Pincente Big Band joining Port Hope Jazz for a special night of music in the park. Friday: Starting at 7:30 p.m., And No Birds Sang brings Farley Mowat’s acclaimed Second World War memoir to the stage in a new production adapted by Dave Carley and directed by Rob Kempson. The world premiere follows Mowat’s experience as a young soldier with the Hastings Prince Edward Regiment, exploring the realities of combat and the lasting impact of wartime loss at the Cameco Capitol Arts Centre, 20 Queen Street in Port Hope.
Friday: Starting at 6 p.m., Friday Night Cruise-In is a summer tradition where old friends, new faces, and plenty of beautifully restored vehicles come together for an evening of conversation and classic cars. Whether you’re bringing your own ride or simply stopping by to admire the lineup, it’s a fun and relaxed way to spend a Friday evening at 727 William Street, beside Big Boy Burgers, in Cobourg.
