The Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce is hosting a speed campaigning event with Alnwick-Haldimand municipal candidates on Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Alnwick Civic Centre in Roseneath.
The event will give voters an opportunity to speak directly with candidates through five-minute discussion sessions at rotating tables. Attendance is limited to 88 people, and advance registration is required.
The event comes ahead of the municipal election voting period, which runs Oct. 16 to 26. Voter assistance centres will also be available to help residents with telephone and online voting.
