Northumberland County is offering residents another opportunity to get help with identification and connect with local support services.
The county’s third and final Identification and Wellness Clinic of 2026 is scheduled for Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at county headquarters at 555 Courthouse Road in Cobourg.
The clinic will bring together government agencies and community organizations to help residents obtain or replace identification, access benefits and learn about available services.
Participating organizations include ServiceOntario, Northumberland County Community and Social Services, Northumberland Help and Legal Centre, Fleming College, Career Edge and the Ontario Health Team of Northumberland.
Assistance will also be available for health cards, Ontario Photo Cards, birth certificate applications, federal programs and employment services.
County Community and Social Services Client Services Manager Jennifer Glover says valid identification can be an important first step toward accessing housing, employment, health care and financial services.
The clinic is open to everyone, including newcomers to Northumberland County and those seeking help navigating government programs.
Pre-registration is encouraged to reduce wait times, although walk-ins are welcome. Residents can register online at Northumberland.ca/IDClinic.
