STUFF TO DO
Friday: The Cobourg Ghost Walk invites visitors to brave the dark and uncover chilling secrets hidden in Cobourg’s oldest streets, with eerie tales, legendary figures and haunted landmarks. The rain-or-shine walking tours run at 6:30 and 8 p.m., starting at Henley Arcade (48 A King Street W.) For more information and tickets, visit Experience Cobourg.
Friday: The Port Hope Halloween Community Kindness Project runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Town Park Recreation Centre on McCaul Street. Youth volunteers will carve pumpkins and put together Halloween care packages with treats, cards and activity kits for local long-term care homes, shelters and families in need. It’s a fun way to spread some Halloween cheer and give back to the community.
Saturday: The Annual Ghostly Visit runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wesleyville Heritage Village. Families can enjoy a Haunted Forest Trail, pumpkin decorating, marshmallow roasting, crafts, fortune telling and spooky characters throughout the historic village.
