Bidding is underway in the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation’s annual online auction, raising money for breast-health care improvements at the Cobourg hospital.
More than 120 items and experiences are available, with bidding closing at 7 p.m. Nov. 10. Proceeds will support the foundation’s Singin’ In The Rain: Hollywood Style gala and help fund new equipment, including a 3D mammography unit with contrast capabilities, an ultrasound machine, a bone-mineral density scanner and wire-free breast-tissue localization technology.
Auction chair Therese Brennan-Hunt says the continued generosity of local businesses and individuals is greatly appreciated, adding that this year’s selection includes new offerings and returning favourites.
Items include sports and concert tickets, accommodations, family activities, dining experiences and home decor.
