Cobourg is begginning the 2019 budget process and wants to hear from you.
The Town of Cobourg is inviting citizens to attend the Public Budget Meeting this coming Monday (Jan 14) at 6 pm in the Council Chambers at Victoria Hall.
This is in order to share ideas on municipal service priorities and how you’d would like to see municipal tax dollars spent.
They are inviting citizens to provide their feedback before a submission to Council for review.
If you wish to make a presentation to council submit your written submission to the Municipal Clerk.
How to Provide Feedback
Input and submissions for the Public Budget Meeting can be provided in the following ways:
1. Emailing Deputy Mayor Suzanne Séguin at email@example.com.
2. Attending the January 14, 2019 Public Budget Meeting in person and/or by making a presentation to Council*.
– *If you wish to make a presentation to Council please submit your written submission
to Municipal Clerk Brent Larmer at 905-372-4301 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
– Each presenter will be allotted 15 minutes.
The input provided will help inform the Town of citizen priorities for programs and services for the upcoming budget year.
All open public meetings are scheduled to take place in Council Chambers in Victoria Hall and will also be broadcast live on the Towns YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/towncobourg).
