The Ontario government is asking for your input on the cost of car insurance.
Drivers are invited to fill out an online survey to include their thoughts on how to lower the province’s auto insurance rates.
The government says this is part of its commitment to making like more affordable.
This is being called the “Putting Drivers First” consultation and individuals and businesses are able to submit the survey for review with an end goal of eliminating the practice of discriminating against drivers based on where they live, modernising the auto insurance sector and moving towards fully electronic commerce.
The deadline to submit your thoughts is February 15, and you can fill out the survey online by visiting the Ontario government website.
